Sensibin is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dexmont Pena as new CTO. Dexmont brings a wealth of experience to the Sensibin team, spanning 15 years of pushing state of the art technologies in international companies.
Dexmont holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, and a Ph.D. in Computer Vision from Dublin City University (DCU), where he researched the topic “Efficient stereo matching and obstacle detection using edges in images from a moving vehicle”. Since then, he has focused on Autonomous Robotics leading a team within Intel Movidius as Deep Learning Data Scientist. While in Intel Movidius, Dexmont collaborated across different business units to create hardware and software designs focused on low-power robotics perception on the edge, while obtaining publications and demos on Autonomous Navigation and Social Robotics.
Commenting on his new appointment, Dexmont said “ I am delighted to be joining such an exciting project and a great team, where I can leverage my expertise to develop great new products that can make a real difference to global recycling”
